1. What sources does the AI Assistant use to answer questions?

It can pull from your Knowledge Base, documentation site, or any approved URLs you provide. More ingestion options are coming.

2. Can Smartflow handle complex or conditional flows?

Yes. It’s great for multi-step and more complex flows. For very technical edge cases, Smartflow provides a strong starting point that you can customize deeply.

3. What happens after Early Access ends?

Smartflow will move to Pro and Enterprise plans after Jan 15. Anything created during Early Access stays available on any paid plan.

4. How does Smartflow ensure data privacy and security with AI?

All data is securely processed, never used to train external models, and only uses content you choose to provide via the screen recording to create Smartflow. Besides the screen recording, nothing else is shared. As a best practice, we recommend not using sensitive data when building flows.

5. For Smartflow, does the language of the software front end or the prompt have an effect on how the AI generates the flows?

The language does not affect the quality of the flows. You can mention any custom instruction in the ‘purpose’ you put before starting the click through. The flows get generated in your default locale otherwise.

In addition, with AI Translate you can automatically translate the flow to any other language in a single click. 

6. Is Userflow, and Smartflow in particular, entirely no-code? Or do I need any engineering / dev assistance?

Once the Userflow script is your database, that’s the only engineering work you’ll need! Everything else is built to be frictionless and no-code. 

7. Does Smartflow use element-based targeting and can it accommodate alternative layouts?

Yes! Smartflow uses element-based targeting. You can create conditions through the builder to accommodate alternate paths based on screen layouts.
